Mixing

Mixing is arguably one of the most important steps in the process of making an album. It’s a technical process of volume leveling, panning, equalization, compression, and effects. Mixing is a creative process as well; it establishes a sonic territory that your listeners will travel to. Along with basic balancing and audio processing, the mixing process should transform the instrumentation visually; the listener should be able to close their eyes and hear the depth of the drums, the height of the strings, and the wideness of the percussion.

I offer affordable mixing from my home studio. I am able to transfer your audio files from any audio system (Mac or PC). I have mixed several projects that were created in Garage Band, Pro Tools, Studio One, Cubase, and Logic. Usually I can mix 1.5 songs a day, so it usually takes me about two weeks to mix a full length and a week or less to mix an EP. For mixing projects I typically negotiate a weekly rate, please contact me for a quote.
